Empower your cross-border payments with the flexibility to choose who covers the transaction costs.
At Shison Finance Group LTD, we’re on a mission to make cross border payments seamless, transparent, and fair. We listen to our users and are constantly innovating to give you more control over how you move your money across borders.
Today, we release a new feature that puts the decision-making power directly in your hands: the ability to choose who pays the transaction fees.
Gone are the days of a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re a freelancer receiving payment from a client abroad, a business paying an international supplier, or simply sending money to family, you now have the flexibility to decide how transaction fees are handled.
How Does This New Feature Work?
It’s beautifully simple. The next time you create a transfer on payquin, you’ll see a new, clear option during the process:
“Who pays the transfer fees?
You have two choices:
1. I will pay the fees (Sender Pays): This is the traditional model. You, the sender, cover the transaction fees and VAT. The recipient gets the exact amount you intended to send.
2. The recipient pays the fees: With this new option, you, as the sender, will only be charged the VAT on the transaction. The full transaction fee will then be deducted from the receivers account. This means you can send a specific net amount without worrying about the fees on your end.
A Real-World Example
Let’s say Sarah in the UK needs to send $1,000 to her supplier David in Canada for services rendered.
Scenario 1: Sender Pays (Old Way)
Sarah sends $1,000.
A $25 transaction fee + VAT is deducted from Sarah’s account.
David receives the full $1,000.
Scenario 2: Recipient Pays (New Flexible Way)
Sarah sends $1,000 and selects “Recipient Pays the Fees.”
Sarah is only charged the VAT on the transaction.
The $25 transaction fee is deducted from the receivers account upon arrival.
* David receives $1000 with a 25 post debit from his account.
This clarity ensures no surprises and allows both parties to agree on terms upfront.
Why Did We Build This?
We designed this feature for the diverse needs of our global community:
For Businesses and Freelancers: Simplify invoicing. You can now quote your clients a precise net amount you wish to receive, and they can initiate the transfer knowing that all fees will be handled on your end. Conversely, you can pay invoices in full by selecting to cover the fees yourself.
For Families and Friends: It offers a new way to share costs. Perhaps you’re sending money for a shared gift or family expense—now you can easily split the cost of the transfer itself.
Ultimate Transparency: This feature eliminates any confusion about the final amount that will be delivered. Both sender and recipient see exactly what will be deducted and when, fostering trust in every transaction.
Take Control of Your Next Transfer
This new level of customization is designed to make your financial interactions smoother and more predictable. It’s all about giving you the choices you need to manage your international finances your way.
